Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing healthcare team in Milwaukie, OR. As a Physical Therapist, you will lead patient care initiatives and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.
- Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Perform detailed physical therapy assessments and document patient progress
- Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and rehabilitation programs
- Supervise and coordinate with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff
- Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Develop and adjust therapeutic exercise programs based on patient needs
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current Oregon State Physical Therapy license
- Valid CPR certification
- APTA certification preferred
- Proven clinical experience in physical therapy
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with insurance documentation and billing procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
